Among my papers I have kept the writing of a ten year old boy, named Theodor. It is a school writing on the subject “What love is.” I found in his words three things where, most certainly lies a future joy:

“What is love?” Love is something that makes two people think they are happy even when nobody else thinks. It is something that makes them want to sit close one to another on a bench, even if there is plenty of room. It is something that makes them be quiet while you are present and talk about love and flowers when they think you left. That’s all I know about love, until I will grow up a little.”
